M Type Expanding Gate Valve
Our expanded gates are made to produce high sealing forces during operations on both the upstream and downstream seats simultaneously unaffected by vibration or pressure variance. The gate is split in two halves with a double angle causing expansion in either the open or close direction with a mechanical stop at either end of the travel causing the expansion of the gate to effect sealing. At the closure point the expansion forms a seal to effect shutoff. At the open point the expansion forms a seal to prevent media entering the body cavity.
